Seeking Witnesses - Accident on Sat Dec. 14 at Adelaide & Cheapside

Spotted : I am looking for witnesses to an accident on Saturday, December 14th at the intersection of Adelaide and Cheapside. It was a black ford hit by a green toyota. I was hit on a left-hand turn by someone speeding through a yellow-turning-red when all other vehicles had been stopped and the intersection cleared for some time. I called 911 but the police didn't show up. I need witnesses to this person running the red and hitting me because without witnesses or police charges, it's always the person turning left who's at fault - even if the light is red and the traffic is still.

Spotted : So this has been bothing me since Tuesday and I need to share.

My son who is 8 years old went to Lacasse Park in Tecumseh with his Respite Worker. It was their first day together after a few months of me trying to find one for him with no luck, but that's not the problem.

While they were out I received a phone call from a private name, private number, it was a police officer asking if I knew that my son was with this man This man who by the way has a police clearance in order to become a respite worker, this man who I had interviewed a week prior.
All because 3 woman noticed that my son didn't look like the man he was with, so their conclusion of the situation was that the man isn't his father, so he must be kidnapped because he's calling the man by his first name.

1st thank you for being that concerned, but 2nd please people be aware that not all children with Respite Workers are in wheel chairs, or have Autisim, or Down Syndrom, some kids have mental health issues, and hidden behaviour issues and need a Respite Worker. 3rd that man my child was with could have been an uncle, family friend, neighbor or a boyfriend of mine, because my son's father isn't around and hasn't been for 5 years.

Please when being observant, you keep all factors in mind before calling 911 and reporting things.

Spotted : Thank you to the wonderful woman who I encountered at a Shell station in London this past week. She made sure my car was cleaned off from the snow, made arrangements for someone to top up my windshield fluid and generally made sure I was OK. My partner recently had open heart surgery and I was overwhelmed with the weather and the general circumstances. I never got her name but what a wonderful example she set before her children who were in her vehicle. Again, thank you so very much.

Spotted : Thanks to the kind young woman who was walking in the industrial section of London (near the airport) this afternoon.
She was nice enough to get out her cell phone to look up directions on how I could access the Westbound 401 to the Windsor area so that I could get home to my husband who was anxiously awaiting my return. I enjoyed passing through your city and arriving home a little late, but safe! Time for a GPS, a cell phone or at least a map, I think!

Spotted : I had the most horrifying thing happened today leaving Wal-Mart. My daughter was eating a candy she decided to swallow the whole thing it got stuck in her throat. They could not get it out she was gagging her face went white and purple she couldn't breathe. I didn't know what to do I was trying everything and i was screaming for help. I had a couple come running up to me trying to help but nothing was working we could not get it out of her throat. For a minute she stopped breathing, gagging and stopped moving.
This older lady came running up to us, grabbed Jordan out of his arms and gave her the baby Heimlich. If it wasn't for her who knows what would have happened! I wish I would have got her name, thank God that you showed up and saved my little girl. You are an angel in my eyes, Jordan is now home and everything is good, just have to keep an eye on her breathing. When you think you're prepared for everything and something like that happens I felt so hopeless for my child. Everything I was doing wasn't helping her, watching your child trying to breathe but can't it's the worst feeling ever. So again to this amazing lady who helped my little girl I want to say thank you so much
God bless you xoxo
Spotted : The windy sky was appropriate on this special day as we celebrated the raising of our beautiful Canadian flag (http:/ / www.greatcanadianflag.com). The flag was raised at Dieppe Gardens as many gathered together cheering and applauding. As O' Canada echoed through the crowd, gunshots were fired as a part of Windsors 125th Birthday celebrations. Everyone was filled with such joy watching the amazing addition to our Windsor skyline.

Spotted : Hello everybody. You are my last chance or hope or luck, i don't know. In may 2016 i met someone very interesting in my holiday in l deniz/ fethiye/ Turkey. We stayed in the liberty hotels lykia and he and his friends in the sentido hotel lykia. Both are at the same place. His name was Paul. He was an african guy from London. He told me that he and his friends came to play tennis in this hotel (tennisholidays). I think, they were 4 friends. Paul was an engineer, he likes playing back gammon and chess. He can also dance very very good. In this holiday he has problems within his leg and cannot play tennis. I cannot find him. Now i want that somebody can help me to find this guy. He doesn't drink and smoke. He was maybe 1.90m, court hair. My English is terrible but i hope you can understand me. He wanted to dance with me but i was stupid and didn't go alone with him and went into our room with my girlfriend. I am so curious about PAUL. I am a teacher (sports and mathematic), living in Germany. I have curly black hair. We talked at the bar and played back gammon. He was the winner. Please help me if someone knows this guys making every year tennisholidays in fethiye l deniz. Maybe Aaron Sankey is a friend of Paul.

Spotted : March 31st is a rainy rainy day. My 5 yr olf daughters class went to the sugarbush today. I would not allow her to go so we had a mommy and daughter day.
In the morning we did a little shopping and in the afternoon we decided to go see a movie.
We went to Silver City in Masonville Mall as it was the only theater showing a 1pm movie.
We got through about 1/ 2 hr of the movie and she wanted to leave, she said it was too loud!
On the way out the ticket taker asked what was wrong and why we were leaving? I replied that she said it was too loud and chuckled, to which he said what theater are you in? I replied 7.
She went out to the lobby to play games and he a few minutes later came up to me and stated that he had gone in and requested that the volume be turned down and it in fact was.
I thanked him very much with appreciation but by that time it had already lost her interest.
Thank you so much for your kindness towards my babygirl!

Not only did she go above the extra mile for me by providing outstanding customer service but she also took the time to chat with me. This is something I don't normally see in Kitchener-Waterloo. I just wanted to say thanks to her and I really appreciate how she made my day. smile emoticon

I also wanted to spot Josh Yandt for being such a positive role model to me and the London community on promoting kindness. I really enjoyed listening to your speeches. I also wanted to spot Katrina Craig for always being an awesome professor and for supporting her students every step of the way. I really enjoyed coming back to Fanshawe College to visit as a former Office Administration - General student.

Thank you all to the men and women that attend Fanshawe and to those that work. Your help is always appreciated. Thank you to Sarah Marques for also being an awesome friend as well. Your all awesome and it was nice coming back to London.

As my husband wandered away from the kids and I (sans cellphone), he completely lost us. Suddenly I received a picture text of my hubby at Ben Moss Jewelers, saying that he is looking for me. The women at the store and I had a good laugh over the ordeal. Thanks for being there and giving us something funny to remember of our shopping trip!

We stopped for lunch at the McDonalds on Wellington road near commissioners and after lunch I went up to order my kids each an ice cream. The lady working named Julie who took my original order came over and asked my kids if they wanted to make their own ice cream! She took them behind the counter and they help make their own ice cream! Then to my surprise they made us each one too and she paid for our ice creams! It was the nicest thing I have experienced in a long time and my kids loved it! Thank you for such a kind gesture it made our trip!

Spotted : Spotted : A few weeks ago I was walking with my dog on riverside and I noticed an older gentleman who was having trouble collecting papers that went flying around because of the wind. I helped him gather what I could and once we were done I walked over to him. I gave him what I had from what looked like very old letters. I asked him if he noticed anymore missing. I took a closer look and I noticed watery eyes. He said he accidently dropped his book that had all these letters in it, letters that him and his wife wrote each other throughout the years. I told him I would help him. Every letter had a number in the top right corner and he had a total of 195. He was missing page 17 and 77, so we started looking. A few others joined in after about 10 minutes of searching. At one point we almost had 15+ people looking for he last missing page 77. While looking he told me his wife had passed away 5 years ago and every now and then he pulls out these letters that they wrote to each other while he was away from her(before texting and emails). I broke down into tears just listening to him tell me the story. Suddenly we hear a scream from a distance. This middle age man was trying to run as fast as he could to us screaming "I FOUND IT" this old man was so anxious to see the last page to make sure it was the right one. I was so happy to see that page 77 was now in his hands again. I helped him count the papers one more time to make sure they were all there. To all those people who walked by and stopped to help, you are amazing. To that old man, I hope one day I find exactly what you found with your wife. It was so beautiful to sit and talk to him for that little while.

I just thought I would share this story, hoping it makes someone's day!
Spotted : Today we drove from Windsor to London to get bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal. We also went to the mall to get jewellery and shoes to go with the dresses. My wonderful friend was kind enough to buy us all earrings to match our dresses. Unfortunately when we went for dinner at Jack Astor's tonight they were stolen from the car while we were in the restaurant. So very disappointed with our visit to London today.

Spotted : Spotted : yesterday my grandma and I were walking into Costco. I grabbed a cart and was going to meet my grandma at the photo centre. As I was walking towards her I noticed a gentlemen hand her something and walk away. As he smiled and turned away he said " the golden rule is what I live by, have a great weekend." I was curious so I asked her what that guy wanted. She said that he noticed when she pulled her hand out of her jacket pocket a $50 and $20 fell out onto the floor. He picked it up walked over to her and gave it to her. He had such a great smile and she thanked him and said thank you for being honest. Thats when he said " the golden rule is what I live by, have a great weekend"

Spotted : *Life lesson today* I have always had a soft spot for people in need, I have always been a giver, without ever expecting any sort of return. At the grocery store today I was going to purchase the groceries for the family in front of me, I've done this countless times before. Something different happened today! They were so grateful, but instead of letting me pay for them they paid for a few of my groceries. My heart was full & happy! Today, it came back full circle to me, when I needed it most and expected it least. There are still good people out there... If you can't find one, Be One
